Frequently compared to Dashboard Confessional, Into It Over It and once described in a press article as the “UK’s answer to Owen”, Brightr has spent the past 10+ years carving out a gloomy emo pop shaped place in this brilliant community called punk. With a live show somewhere between soaring and brutally honest vocals, intricate guitar melodies and cathartic group therapy, a Brightr set is about more than just the music, it’s always been about connection, and fun, and facing sadness, and the honesty needed to be truly human. Returning to Dresden for the first time since 2016, expect a Farewell Youth Fest set packed with classic oldies, some brand new ones and of course songs from newest album Year Two!
